This was a fantastic surprise today. My favourite lyrics:

Rubber bullets bouncin' off me (Ah)
Made a picket sign off your picket fence (Ah)
Take it as a warning (Ah, ah)

Written by Beyonce[...]
Was it? I'm not seeing her listed as such in the youtube credits.

@kickingtheground, Variety and Billboard both reference her as a writer:
Beyonce, her husband Jay-Z, Akil "Fresh" King, Brittany Coney, Densia Andrews, Kim "Kadence" Krysiuk, Rickie "Caso" Tice, and Derek Dixie are the co-writers on"Black Parade," which was produced by Beyonce and Dixie.

Beyonce definitely was a co-writer on the song. She has written and co-written many songs. She doesn't have anything to prove.

No matter what you think about whether Beyonce's music is to your taste it's shitty to imply that it's important to not accidentally give her too much credit just in case she doesn't deserve it, as well as just uninformed.

Mod note: As noted above, please take care not to deny Beyonce credit for her work -- that kind of comment can easily have a racist impact and people should take extra care to avoid comments that can create that impact. Please just let people use this thread to appreciate the song.
