That's amazing. It's not really very DIY, unless Y owns a fairly well-equipped workshop, but it's still amazing.

Umm gonna need test samples to make sure they still taste good. 1 or 2 cases should be enough.

I was really surprised by that silver coating technique, and then how he nickel plated it, solder it to brass and then attached it to aluminium. That's some pretty cool processes there.
