A short documentary about a magical San Francisco resident and artist (SL Vimeo) (CW: while not the majority of the film, he does talk about his experience of living through the AIDS crisis)

I frequently went by a house on my way to work that always had sculptures hanging in front. Now I need to go see if it is his. A really excellent glimpse at why San Francisco is special.

What a lovely, thoughtful film. Thanks!

(I very rarely experience nostalgia. But, I sure do miss San Francisco while watching this.)

With archival video from my day job! I'm glad to see this making the rounds -- it's such a labor of love.

This is wonderful! For more than 10 years I went by his house almost daily on the 5 Fulton. I always wondered about the artist and always looked forward to his sculptures. Love seeing this!

That is beautiful. I shared it with a friend who grew up in Marin and has HIV. I'm positive that I've either walked or ridden a bus past Miguel's house. Thank you treepour.
