How ironic this article spends more time on her wedding dress and what it looked like than the very real and challenging issues she has worked on.

Today I learned that there is a council of women world leaders (former and current) with 79 members. I am both disheartened (it is needed) and heartened (it exists!).

I highly recommend following Helen Clark, NZ's former PM, on twitter. Offers insights into what kinds of things women leaders do and think about.

Sure, aniola! Here's one that shows that "lifestyle" articles can be substantive and informative.

On my e-reader, this is a very short story. Maybe a few hundred words. On my computer, it's a 2000-word article. Which version are you seeing?

The longer version for sure.

The article touched on the pandemic, race, gender, dv, age, and so on. Can you contribute relevant articles about these topics, or about the politics of the other women in the coalition?

"Marin was chosen by her centre-left Social Democratic Party, to take over from Prime Minister Antti Rinne, following criticism of the way he had handled a postal strike."

That really soft-sells the Posti strike. It wound up nearly paralyzing the country. I've been in France during strikes and this outdid the French (which is saying something). Previously.

On the whole this article does a better job of explaining the complexities of the political landscape while also highlighting her success than, say, most articles about New Zealand's politics.
