It seems like indoor plants are very popular at the moment. Maybe it's the pots for her dead specimens?

I don't know how many times I've been in the situation described in this comic.
My local post office is the worst. Although they're very good about vocally enforcing a social distancing cap (three people, max) in the lobby, the tight, 1960s-era airlock entrance to that lobby is a free-for-all.
When leaving the post office the other day, I spent what seemed like an eternity staring through the glass door at a kindly mask-wearing grandmother with a reusable shopping bag full of small packages who just didn't seem to get that I couldn't leave the post office as long as she was occupying the vestibule. At first she stood to one side and beckoned me to come on in, but I responded by gently shaking my head and pointing beyond her. Then she mouthed something like "Oh it's OK, I don't mind", but again I just stood there. She seemed genuinely puzzled that I was avoiding her like the plague, and it just didn't occur to her that it's because either of us might have the plague.
A postal employee asked me what the holdup was, and gave me permission to wave her in. But as soon as I entered the airlock another person came in from outside. And I ended up apologizing for some reason.
Seriously, what's wrong with people?

They're people. It's sort of built in to peopleness.

I'm a little confused by what look like take-out coffee cups marked "pot", though.
I'm guessing they're Pot Noodles.

I think the cups marked “Pot” are Pot Noodle from Tesco. Cup Noodles might be the US equivalent.

Those, my friend, are Pot Noodles, a staple dish for every cash-strapped young Briton since 1977.

THIS has been a *genuinely* eye opening comment for me this morning.

This from the "here" link has me laughing so hard; the kid is worried about me. I've never heard of this Rachael Smith before so thanks for sharing these links to her work. She is really great

I'm concerned, on seeing how other people are handling things, that I'm not having enough wine.

I assumed they were supposed to be little plastic baggies full of weed but I guess ramen noodles make equal amounts of sense
