As part of the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the franchise and in recognition of the growing worldwide popularity of tokusatsu shows, the creators of GARO are releasing a remastered version of the original 2005 series with English subtitles on Youtube, with the first two episodes available currently.

Created by a number of toku veterans such as series creator and designer Keita Amemiya and action choreographer Makoto Yokoyama, GARO was the first tokusatsu series intended for a more adult audience, targeting the audience in Japan who had grown up on series like Ultraman, Super Sentai, and Kamen Rider, but were now adults and ready for a toku show more oriented to them. The series concept focuses around the Makai Order, a group of priests and Knights who fight off parasitic monsters known as Horrors, with the Knights transforming into elaborate animal themed armors to combat the threat, though under a strict 100 second time limit. The initial series story centers around Koga, the current holder of the mantle of the Golden Makai Knight Garo, who winds up crossing paths with Kaoru, a struggling artist who seems to have her own connections to the Makai, and who is splattered with Horror blood from a fight, causing her to become a target for them. The series has since spawned a number of followup live action and animated shows and movies, as well as several crossover events with other franchises.

This looks like great fun! Any idea how often they plan on releasing the remastered episodes?
