Due to COViD, Sydney stayed home and watched the fireworks on TV. Shorter duration this year, but glorious as ever.

Shorter duration? If the whole show doesn’t go off in 30 seconds, it’s too long.

So pretty! There are so many crappy amateur firework "shows" around now that it's really nice to see professional programs on special days. Thanks for linking this!

Not to be That Poster, but LNP’s Gladys Berijiklian / NSW’s lack of lockdown directives is epitomised by this display: an explosion of clusters. Now other states have again been forced to issue hard borders, and our new year starts with more closures to interstate loved ones.
(I’ll let my grumpy ass out, and just hope I can see my family members at some point this year)
