This is so fun. When it was posted way back in 2012 I knew that it was obviously a video game, but I didn't understand what the Kinect was and the physical aspect to it. I thought it was just played with a hand controller and it seemed bizarre. I looked to see if there were any videos with people dancing along to it, like in that Boney M, Rasputin video from a couple of years ago, but all I found was someone's VR avatar dancing to it. Anyway, this is going to be an earworm again for while.

The way the arms rotate in the Double Blaster, as if they're not humans but instead droids with perfect 360 pivots at their elbows. Also the word "Great" flashing on Lando's crotch rhythmically. 2021 is gonna be awesome.

I'd say mostly because this song is a rather lazy "parody" of Ridin' Solo, which is already a good song.

Oh yeah, any musical quality associated with this soundtrack is entirely borrowed from the original songs. At their core, these are just well-made covers of good songs with some horribly chosen lyrical substitutions - but that's enough to make them great. A Genie in a Bottle knockoff called "Princess in a Battle"? That's genuinely hilarious, and the... sacrilegious element just adds to it.
Unrelatedly, I dig how you can see the silhouette of the actual person playing the game in a little window in the top left. Obviously, there's a lot of players who are just doing some ironic arm waving, but it's really damn wholesome and fun when you can see somebody straight killing it to the refrain "you know this wookie is for real".

ZaphodB, thanks for pointing that detail out. I was wondering about the possibility of viewing the dance input but there's just so much mesmerizing stuff to watch there that I had overlooked that small window.

A while back I edited a podcast episode about THE LAST JEDI and added this as the intro music. It still think that's best creative decision I've ever made.
