"a miniature world, inhabited by stylish ants"

Ann Wood's house of fabric ants who like midcentury furniture and modern art. And their Christmas preparations. More information about making the Beaumonts and their house. And some ideas for having ideas.
And, via a comment from MeFite umwhat in Ask in 2015, Ann Wood's workspace.
I love this! Thank you!

I also love this, I am a sucker for all things miniature. For some reason I thought they were gonna be real ants in a reeaaaaally tiny house and now I want to see that too.

The ants are surprisingly anatomically decent, especially for how cute they are. The thoraxes are weirdly big and long, and the waists are a bit thick. That's small in the scheme of these things, though I'd like to see more mandibles and maxillae. Nary a labium in sight.

I love Ann Wood’s work! I’m made things from several of her tutorials, and she got me started paper piecing a quilt last year.

So sweet! Thanks. Something I would have wanted to own when I was a little girl.

This is so beautiful! I bought one of Ann Wood's patterns previously, but I hadn't seen how much else was on her site. Or the free patterns!
