"African Cypher" A documentary about street dance in South Africa. From Isipantsula, B-boying, Krump or Sbhujwa, this is a raw, inspiring, and simply beautiful film with a fantastic soundtrack.

I watched another incredible documentary last night, Dogtown and Z-Boys, which is about the birth of Skateboarding culture. It made me wonder. Young people all over the world are doing amazing things, but they don't have the machinery of the US media and capitalism to amplify them (as happened to the skaters) so we just don't even know they exist. Then I thought of African Cypher.
It's a film that helps me remember just how amazing people are.
