The production quality on this was actually insanely good

This is a v. cool little feat. Is the bokoblin suit in the actual game, or is this a fun-time hack?

The Bokoblin mask is in the game and triggers friendly behavior as shown. The matching red clothes are just regular clothes dyed red (which is also something you can do normally in a game). Some shots and angles don't feel to me like they're possible without using some glitch or another, but cinematography aside the only thing that's clearly not something you could get from a regular gaming session is the end of the boar hunt.

The bokoblin suit (or rather, the mask) that makes bokoblins peaceful towards you is an actual item you can get in the game.

Came for Attenboroughesque narration, was not disappointed. Also, I guess I can now add "killing Bokoblins" to the list of things I feel weirdly guilty about doing in BotW (see also: leaving Zelda to face Ganon while I do just one more side-quest, letting my poor horse get hurt, failing to rescue the idiot travelers who keep running into danger, etc.).

OK, now we need the Warner Herzog version.

Also I was a little disappointed that they maintained the facade throughout the video. To truly capture the BOTW spirit, you'd spend an hour of real-time in the camp, befriending the noble creatures and helping the tribe out with the hunt, only for a Chuchu to drop out of a tree and attack, instantly blowing your cover and forcing to you commit Bokoblinocide.

This is the documentary that Zelda wanted to make, but had to fight calamity ganon instead. She finally got Link out there after they saved Hyrule - and got Prince Sidon to narrate!

Zelda wanted to do literally anything other than fulfill her destiny as the wielder of the sacred power to seal away the darkness and really? I respect that.
