Spooky dick jokes

Charles and Christopher are friends who review horror movies through a gay lens.

Christopher is best known for his website (and once upon a time one man show) Christopher Doesn't Live Here Anymore, a detailed blog about every single address he's ever lived at. He stans Kylie.

Charles currently works as a bartender at the Stonewall Inn in NYC and apparently once had to be forcibly discouraged by Christopher to not take pills he found on the street. He stans Britney.

Funny, friendly, and prone to tangents, Dirty Little Horror is pretty wonderful.

Will have to check this out. Thanks for sharing. I'm fascinated by people talking about movies I'm too chicken to watch.

Agreed! I am not as into horror I used to be when I was younger, so I love listening. Sometimes I will actually go and watch one of the movies depending on how hilarious the episode was. I am still having trouble forgiving Chris for disliking Ravenous though. (A film I watched one, loved despite how messed it up was, and will likely not rewatch because of said messed up-ness.)

Ok, so just I listened to the pilot episode (on the original Exorcist), while doing some mindless filing tasks, and I'm in. This is pretty great.

I have Halloween III queued up for a watch later tonight (I'd been meaning to give it a rewatch for a while because it always struck me as a gloriously weird turn in that franchise and I saw that it's in their episode list, so why not). I'm looking forward to listening to their episode on that tomorrow.

My fave episode right now is the one where they review Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night 2. It is currently streaming on Amazon Prime up here in Canada and it was every bit as campy and hilarious and fun as they said it would be.

I have written in a couple of times so if you hear my RL name on an episode, I still owe them my mother's La Llorona story.

Ha. Awesome.

I came across Black Christmas (the 1974 version) on Kanopy, and it's been kicking around my watch list for ages. I have dim memories of it, and I wanted to rewatch it at some point. I see these guys have an episode on it, so I think I'll do a watch/listen combo with that too.

But this podcast is now totally in my "subscribe and automatically download" queue. Thanks for this!
