This is wonderful. It reminds me of the book Hasta fin de existencias (2000), which documented the signs, display windows, and other details of stores in Madrid, most of which are now long gone. There's also the Madrid No Frills project, which isn't about typography, but among other things, has been documenting the workaday bars and cafes that are quickly vanishing from the urban landscape. God, I miss Madrid.
