The Comics Journal has just published this interview with Howard Cruise, the writer/artist behind Stuck Rubber Baby.

Very much interested in this. One of the problems with learning and understanding the history of LGBTQA comics is that a lot of those early works were in low-circulation underground comix, and not only are they likely never going to be reprinted, but the stores that would carry even a few back issues of them are increasingly rare. And, as happy as I am that this project is happening with the creators that it's profiling (especially since Cruse has died), there are probably a bunch more that could have been included--Roberta Gregory, for example.

Looks like it shows some Ralf König art around 01:40. Nice!

I hadn't seen much beyond Disney and Marvel and DC when I went to a biggish town for college. At some party someone had left a copy of "Kondom des Grauens", (The Killer condom), which I couldn't resist to pick up. You may realize from the title, but don't google for that from work.

I made it to about page 4 before I had to put it down again to recalibrate my understanding of reality.

Later, I bought my own copy however. Pretty hilarious stuff.
