Adia Victoria's version of "You Was Born To Die" (feat. Kyshona, Margo Price, & Jason Isbell) knocked me flat. She's one of the seven women of color set to open Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit's upcoming series of concerts at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Sound up, enjoy the YT jukebox.

These are great. And not things I would have ever found in my own. Thanks!

I listened to Mickey Guyton's latest EP a while ago; 'Black Like Me', which is the lead track in her Tiny Desk linked above, is an absolute stunner, and maybe more so for coming at the end of an EP of often more conventional material.

Brittney Spencer is opening on the 16th, the show we'll be at. I'm very excited about going to The Ryman for the first time!
