If working in the spreadsheet mines is getting you down, here's a Spotify radio station based on the Mass Effect map music that will make you feel more... Legendary (SLSpotify)

Like all spotify radio stations, it dynamically updates so no two listens are the same.

Featuring the music of Michael McCann, Jack Wall, Disasterpeace, Solar Fields, Darren Korb, Hans Zimmer, Clint Mansell, and more.

I always thought the map music reminded me of Hearts of Space. Which in turn sounds kind of like music from Sagan's Cosmos.
Good find!

The Mass Effect soundtrack is great, no disputing that. In a dramatically more Space-Western direction, there's the Rebel Galaxy soundtrack, which is also great (but maybe not so conducive to spreadsheet mining). Somewhere between theose two ends of the spectrum, however, there's the Star Wolves soundtrack (links to the other tracks in the video description), which IMO hits right in the sweet spot as the absolute best flying-around-in-space game soundtrack. Not as distracting as Rebel Galaxy but not quite as dangerously relaxing as the Mass Effect map music.

It's not an artesanal spreadsheet if you use macros.

As someone who uses spreadsheets daily and am currently in a daily Mass Effect binge-playing streak, I've been obsessively trying to figure out this post since it went up yesterday. What's the connection between the spreadsheet formula and Mass Effect music? I give up! Someone spoil the joke for me?!
