Link appears to be broken.

But just based on the headline: Come on, people, show me some effort! Show me some sweat! Our altitude's down to 2500 feet, and we've got to clear those mountains up ahead!

Mod note: Link should be fixed now.

The way things are going on Delta flights these days, are they going to have kickboxing?

Thanks to Anne Helen Petersen I see Peloton in a kinder light these days... and Delta is by far my favorite US based airline based on recent experiences. So I approve.

zardoz: "Is this news or is it a press release?"

It's on CNN Business' website, so I believe the term of art is "advertorial"

I was like, Delta's putting spin bikes on their planes? Then I read the article and realized the Peloton classes for Delta are all stretching and meditation, no actual biking or jogging involved. Curious how they're going to make stretching class work for the sucker stuck in the middle seat, though.

From the company that brought you child killing treadmills.

Peloton ugh. But I have been on flights that had some useful stretching reminder videos. Like the 15 hour LAX to Sydney flight.

We're all the sucker stuck in the middle seat.

It's cute they think their video is capable of helping me fall asleep on a plane.

This weekend we flew cross country to be with a dying relative and honestly I found the Peloton videos on the flight really helpful and comforting. I watched the breathing meditation ones. My only complaint is that they weren’t captioned.

If they really want me to relax, they should ban unvaccinated travelers over age 5 and permanently ban any passenger who lowers their mask one second longer than necessary to eat/drink.

I flew Delta on a recent business trip. I saw this option on the in-flight entertainment menu, but I couldn’t fathom “exercising”* without upsetting the man in the adjacent seat**.

*I knew it’d just be stretching or something

**His mask was below his nose the whole time (evidently to facilitate booger access in the absence of snack service), and the sweatpant-clad leg he kept manspreading into my space had what appeared to be blood spatters all over it. You just don’t want to ask some people any favors, you know?
