Youtube vid: GIRLI (Milly Toomey) has been hanging around a bit. Is 'I Don't Like Myself' a (needed) breakthru?

It's weird to think the whole world doesn't already know about her! She's absolutely fantastic--fun, energetic music, unabashedly gaaaaaay, heart on her sleeve, witty, pink as all get-out. "What a Shame" has been on my playlist for months. "Up & Down" was perfect for going to the gym while depressed. You know how something can be sugar-coated but absolutely sincere? Where you don't have to fight your way through sixteen levels of jaded irony to get to the good stuff? I know you can't call poppy dance music balanced as a compliment, but sometimes you need something--really need it--to not be too arch or too complicated or too shallow or too in your face? And she's got that. It's just some of the most human pop out there. (And now I know I've made her sound impossibly boring but she's so much fun!)
