Sometimes you just need to look at some photos of animals

NPR has announced their annual Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards

Do we anthropomorphize, or are animals just as human as we are? Or are we just as animal as other animals?

The titles of the photos are just as entertaining as the photos themselves.

I don't know why "Ow! My balls!" is funny, but I did spit out my coffee when I scrolled down to it.

Thanks for posting these! The otters in "Time for school" by Chee Kee Teo are fun, but my vote for best goes to the mudskippers of "See who jumps high" by Chu han lin.

I think I like the pigeon best. It just kinda summarizes life pretty well.

I totally missed that these weren't NPR awards. There's a gallery of previous winners on the proper site. Here's 2020 which starts off with a turtle flipping the bird.
