Equal parts breathtaking talent, amazing skill... and nightmare fuel*.

(*-Imagine this same cake with red velvet cake flour and royal red icing. Hannibal Lecter would be proud.)

Bonus: Selfie cake.

Also disturbing: the cake has wounds. Sweet, delicious icing wounds.

I like how baking the actual cake is skipped entirely.

Astounding. I cannot imagine "molding chocolate" is all that tasty, but this is a real work of art. Weird art, but art.

I know this is the most metafilter thing ever, but the only thing that bothered me was the kerning around the v on her Merry Everything pillow.

"I cannot imagine "molding chocolate" is all that tasty…"

Contrary to my own expectations, and as I discovered, modeling chocolate is quite delicious with a great texture and mouthfeel. Waaaay better than fondant or marzipan.

Wow! She is a sculptor and special effects master. Is she mainly a baker, though? (I was also going to say that is a LOT of modeling chocolate so not sure it can really be eaten as a cake? Of course this seems like being very picky when the result is really quite amazing.)

The likeness is astounding. I don't know what color cake wouldn't have been disturbing, but the one chosen was not it.

FWIW, I have no trouble believing Bruce Willis' skull is filled with spongecake and green frosting

Man it's an incredible piece of work but as far as a Die Hard Christmas Cake goes, I feel like she missed a LOT of amazing opportunities.
