Nick Rhodes & Wendy Bevan Release the Final Album in the ASTRONOMIA Series [DuranDuran.com, but more insightful than just a press release] Astronomia is a 52-song, 4-volume project being released as 4 albums. Astronomia IV: The Eclipses Of Algol [YT Audio playlist] came out on December 21, 2021. It can be heard (or purchased) on these online services. (Previously: Astronomia I, Astronomia II, Astronomia III)

More orchestral and emotive than previous installments, each track will see a video released each week. [Bwahahaha! Are we kidding ourselves? We should be several dozen videos deep by now.] The videos so far: Transcending.

A full page of all the Astronomia videos so far. We should have so much more based on what was promised at the beginning of this project.

Maybe the videos are available on Instagram, but I don't have an account, so I don't know for certain.

BONUS NICK RHODES CONTENT: Talk Art podcast interview 1h3m], covers a lot of art but also a lot of DD and also Astronomia. From Oct, 2021.

I have seen nothing yet about a physical release beyond a very limited edition DD Fan Club release. I'm really hoping for something more. I'll post if more videos or info about a bigger release is announced.

I really wish I had more to report about this series of releases. The whole set is really amazing. Apparently Rhodes and Bevan are "never finished with anything" and they were possibly doing adjustments to each release right up until it went public.

I regret not seeing more of the videos. Can anyone with an Instagram account verify they all exist there, but simply haven't been transferred to YouTube, or did they fall down on that end, too?

I'm still hoping for a physical release of the whole set, probably a 2-CD set given the length of each part. i've been reaching out gently through very not-special channels to inquire, but have heard nothing yet.

The whole project, the videos and the music, one supposedly released each week for a year using the solar holidays... it completely stinks of art school, really.
