The Theory of Mind In the highly acclaimed Kevin Bacon movie "Tremors" the plot is centered around an essential question: do the alien subterranean antagonists have a superior "theory of mind" over the earth-humans? Each move and counter-move in this film is governed by this central question, which is also a central inquire for the rest of the coming century. In psychology, the Theory of Mind refers to the capacity to understand other people by ascribing mental states to them. In Game Theory, this becomes an essential quality. "If the Cat can anticipate every action of the Mouse, the Cat is a predator. If the Cat and the Mouse can anticipate each other's moves in tandem, they are competitors. If Amazon can correctly anticipate your purchase list, you become food. {sad trombone noises} The upshot of all of this is that we are no longer the dominant sentient entity on Earth, and might as well adopt symbiotic or mitigation strategies. To dial it down to something tangible, "is Kevin Bacon Smarter than a Graboid?" The fate of humanity lies in the balance. (Especially since in this role, Bacon Ppays the "dumb-but-lucky-hick-making-good-on-his-shit-for-brains-father.)

Your first two links are identical. Did you intend a different link for The Theory Of Mind?
