F*ck These F*cking Fascists

Fans of The Linda Lindas (previously) may enjoy the edgier, but equally awesome, music of North Carolina-based punk band The Muslims (YouTube).

A cuttingly funny follow-up (YouTube).
For old school people who want to support them they have an album out through Epitaph Records.

So great. The anthem at the end is going to come in handy humming to myself in situations to come.

Taqwacore's not dead! I guess it's just more political? Though, I guess Al Thawra was more political than the others on the scene. Crust for Allah!

Just what I needed today as I contemplate the imminent arrival of the FluTruxKlan in my sleepy 'hood.

Love it! Moved to Durham over the summer and immediately recognized most of the spots here. Still haven't made it to Pinhook - fuck Omicron too.

Well, yeah. Had to be! He just does a good job of dropping like a sack of potatoes. As you do when clocked. My thing is, what'd he do? He wasn't having fun at the party? He was not necessarily menacing. I thought he was playing around. Then WHAMMO. Anti-fascist and anti-introvert, I suppose.

I grew up in Durham. It continues to grow cooler in my absence.

what'd he do? ... He was not necessarily menacing.

I don't want to google 'fascist insignia' on my work computer, but I believe he was making a menacing statement with his shirt and buttons. Anyone versed in this able to confirm?

Espousing hate in ways that aren't immediately recognizable to non-fascist (and largely non-fascist-targeted) folks like me is a scary power.

He's wearing a Nazi swastika button, and his t-shirt has the KKK's blood drop cross printed on it.
