"What starts out as vision soon becomes corrupted into a cacophony of distress, leaving only a sense of dread and the chance of a new order."

Is 'the present state of the world' an art installation now?

My work explores the relationship between acquired synesthesia and midlife subcultures. With influences as diverse as Kafka and John Cage, new insights are created from both constructed and discovered layers.

Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of meaning. What starts out as hope soon becomes manipulated into a manifesto of distress, leaving only a sense of dread and the chance of a new understanding.

As wavering forms become frozen through studious and academic practice, the viewer is left with a tribute to the outposts of our existence.

My work explores the relationship between the body and emotional memories. With influences as diverse as Camus and L Ron Hubbard, new synergies are distilled from both traditional and modern dialogues.

My work explores the relationship between Pre-raphaelite tenets and life as performance. With influences as diverse as Rousseau and L Ron Hubbard, new combinations are distilled from both constructed and discovered layers.

Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the universe. What starts out as triumph soon becomes debased into a tragedy of greed, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the possibility of a new synthesis.

As subtle replicas become clarified through frantic and repetitive practice, the viewer is left with a hymn to the limits of our world.
mmm, that's some fine bollocks.

As subtle phenomena become reconfigured through diligent and repetitive practice, the viewer is left with an epitaph for the darkness of our culture.

I mean, this actually works for a piece themed on the corrosion of scientific understanding as implemented by many of our alleged leaders.

These are actually better than a lot of artist statements I've seen. There need to be some sentences that don't have verbs or objects.

Metafilter: What starts out as hope soon becomes manipulated into a hegemony of distress, leaving only a sense of dread and the chance of a new synthesis.

My work explores the relationship between postmodern discourse and life as performance. With influences as diverse as Derrida and Roy Lichtenstein, new insights are generated from both simple and complex textures.

Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the endless oscillation of the universe. What starts out as triumph soon becomes manipulated into a cacophony of defeat, leaving only a sense of chaos and the chance of a new reality.

As shimmering phenomena become clarified through frantic and personal practice, the viewer is left with an insight into the limits of our culture.

Anyway Comicsgate was a performance piece

I want to be mildly annoyed about this but I was in the audience for a creative works thing that was worse than any of the ones posted.

The progression of the reload-link text at the bottom of the bollocks is pretty good, too.
