To A Starling Is a cute, free PICO-8 physics-y jumpy platformer puzzle game by peteksi where you play a bird who can walk, hop, and teleport that should feel pleasantly familiar to anyone who has played Celeste, Portal, Super Meat Boy, etc.

This looks great. I hope it's not as hard as he says - I loved Celeste but precision platforming is definitely not my strong suit.

Probe, Think, Link: if you dig solitaire space-trade-route puzzling more than precision physics jumping, check out Slipways . The original PICO-8 version is a gem, and there's a full PC game version on steam as well.

It found it quite tricky, but each individual screen is small. I won with 7 berries in 41:30.

I got farther than I thought I would before giving up. I enjoyed how the puzzles were mostly on that envelope of being not apparently obvious but also not being ridiculously difficult. A couple times I had some happy accidents where fumbling with the keyboard yielded useful insights, which I think is the sweet spot for this kind of platformer.

Eight berries (did I miss any??), 46:17. Really nice balance of puzzling + reflex to beat each level. Data point: I enjoyed Celeste but gave up on it well before the end.
