Cool. If you don't mind, I'll take this excellent opportunity to add a couple more he did with Billy Strings: I'm a Lonesome Fugitive And Summertime.

Recorded at Carter Vintage Guitars in Nashville, from the looks of it. My bandmates and I stopped in there to do some browsing when we were in Nashville last year for a wedding gig. I'm not a guitarist although I can strum a few three-chord songs, so it wasn't as awe-inspiring for me as it was for others in the band, but being able to take my pick of several multi-thousand-dollar guitars off the wall just to noodle around was neat.

That's how a $75,000 guitar should sound.
I only recently heard of Marcus (through Billy Strings and Michael Palmisano) and he is awesome.

1967 song by Danny O'Keefe.

a 1967 recording but as the link points out, a not insignificant 1972 hit which I recall rather well, having been an avid fan of AM pop radio at the time. But did I even know what the Blues were, twelve or thirteen, stuck in suburbia? I guess I was starting to figure it out ...

Not sure why my links above aren’t working right.

They seem to be working for me.

These covers are nice but I always favor the original. And Danny O'Keefe's Breezy Stories from 1973 remains one of my all-time favorite records (and 'Good Time Charlie's now a bonus track on the CD re-issue).

I'm pretty sure that was the 2nd or 3rd LP I ever bought. It's still really great.
