8 minutes up, 6 minutes down

Join a family as they ride up a summertime ski lift and then ride down the Toboggan Pradaschier, around 2 miles downhill. Beautiful mountains and a lovely quiet (and mildly thrilling) 14 minutes).

That was a lot more fun than I expected to have from my couch. Thanks!

Very cool. Wanted to see the child's face on the way down, but still great.

The perspective on the wide-angle lens makes it look almost like they're going downhill on the lift up.

At least at the beginning part.

This is not unique, we went with the kids on one near Munich years ago - I think it was this one - there's a similar, somewhat more free-form ride near where I live in NZ here

Not unique but still lovely to watch and share.

Aw, this is sweet. It reminds me of being that boy's age and getting to go to Wyoming one summer. We rode up the ski lift and went down the alpine slide at Snow King Mountain. It made me as happy as it did him.

Mountains really are lovely, aren’t they? Can’t wait for the summer lifts near us to open in Utah……go up early in the morning with a mountain bike on the special rack and the. blast down……weeeeeeeee! Rinse and repeat.

I rode one of these in Steamboat a few years back, and they're surprisingly fun. The slight rickety feeling to them, being low to track, and having a bit of control over the speed your going gives them something that you don't get with a theme park roller coaster.

My kid is going to be super disappointed that they've closed it to make way for more lift capacity.

I loved the "Duuude! Braaake!" towards the end.

I grew up riding the alpine slide at Breckenridge in Colorado. They do have an alpine coaster now too, but I never went on it.

Thanks for posting, some nice memories here.
