I recently came across the competition this one came from (all entries here) via lunasorcery on twitter. I used to watch demoscene stuff as a young internet person and it's so cool to see it still going and evolving. This particular one is called "City Blocks" and looks mis-shelved on the demozoo page (it's in the 4k rather than the 256b section).
