I may not like the Yankees very much, but I do love some good baseball stories - and a pox on whoever walked with his original folder!

Heart warming story. Yes, he will be ok. More than ok. He will thrive.

This is indeed heartwarming at a time when I need all the reminders I can get that not all humans are assholes, but I am afraid that his story will take on a life of its own and he will still be getting autographs well into the next century; see Craig Shergold, for example.

This was sweet.

I always think anyone who catches a foul ball in the stands needs to give it to a kid. I also think even if you catch a home run ball, you need to give it to a kid. Adults don't need some used baseball.

Maybe all these things Elyjah was sent will be "worth" something someday in terms of money. Maybe they won't. The main thing is, though, is that they worth something to him now that's bigger than money. And that's so awesome.

Sometimes people are good.

Adults don't need some used baseball.

Other than Dr Meredith Wills, but even she knows the unwritten rule.
