But no. That is definitely the sound of Muppet voices singing and my brain can't hear it any other way, I'm very happy to say.

But no. That is definitely the sound of Muppet voices singing and my brain can't hear it any other way, I'm very happy to say.

I have several (way too many, or maybe not enough) Muppet record albums, and they are ALWAYS the Muppets singing. Muppet albums are some of my favorite material, really.

Here is the tune that is claimed to be lifted from. I'll let you be the judge here. I hear the similarity, but suspect parallel evolution and not replication. Honestly, by the time the piccolos come in during the tap dance, it's sounding a bit like cartoon music from the 30s where everything is moving all in time together or something.
