Would totally eat that. I also ate the Ramen burger at L&L Hawaiian the one time I went-it used Ramen as the buns. Weird but crunchy.

Looks like there's a Japanese-language story about it from mid-May (there no longer seems to be any info about it on the Burger King website), but it does appear that they gave out stickers along with the bags of Baby Star ramen strips (a popular junk food item you might get from the convenience store).

Burger King is very small in Japan, but I gotta admit, their marketing is outstanding.

In December 2020, the pandemic-caused shutdowns of restaurants and hotels caused a potato surplus that resulted in millions of potatoes being tossed out.

Strange potatoey times we live in.

Dear great potato of us all. If nothing will show us the folly of capitalism and the myth of market efficiency and turn us away from the idol of shareholder value like the waste of millions of potatoes, what will?

Baby Star ramen is a really tasty snack. Much tastier than it sounds. Not sure if it's better than fries, because few things are better than fries, but they're tasty nonetheless.
