Dumping happens the other way around as well. Earlier this year Dutch authorities destroyed Chinese meat that was imported by ship through the Rotterdam harbour. They had to do this according to EU regulations because the meat contained antibiotics that are deemed dangerous for human consumption. The Chinese were outraged and started a boycott against Dutch food imports. According to the Chinese the Dutch should have sent back the meat to China, because they still could have sold it in the USA, where there are less strict rules regarding antibiotics in meat.
