Christian Dominionism - global threat to democracy

Seven Mountains Dominionism Texas Observer, (7M) is a burgeoning UK political force (that may appear surficially as extreme libertarianism). Few media are willing to cover this Christian-Fascist nexus (hence articles from many sources inc. blogs). The current turmoil in the UK can be directly traced back to individual MPs driven to install a 7M regime.

[ CW as covers various politicians' statements, actions & articles are troubling at best. Explores 7M and affiliates. At least in words they will stop at nothing; witness Texas' abortion strike-down, Jan 6, and the violence, conspiracism & fascism playing out in NZ since Covid. Also Sunak's threats re thought-crimesfor "vilifying" Britain.]

7M (family religion education media entertainment business government) believers seek a kind of Reich (for a millennium) to exercise 'Dominion' over the Earth (aka post-millennialism) - adherents believe they're owed riches, hence prosperity-Gospel (Jesus' teachings aside). At core 7M is a call to seek controlling roles 'Dominion' across the Seven Mountains. They will work with/co-opt/use anyone to accomplish this, in any way, and to any level of violence, e.g. Jeff Sharlet's C Street: The Fundamentalist Threat to American Democracy, major CW on content.

In back are the shadowy European Research Group ERG, for example
Steve Baker
, [Guardian] appear to be the same thing, but include Buddhists,
secularists & (maybe) non-religious members (although ERG is bound tightly with the Conservative Christian Fellowship).

The myriad Qs/antivax/anti-abortion/open fascist etc. groups arising appear to be 7M affiliates and camp followers (although majority seem naïve and against the 'Communist' state, 'white replacement', vaccination etc., with leaders mainly US, white South African, & local neo-Nazis - two leaders have just been arrested for distributing video of the Christchurch Mosque terrorist). Local elections are coming up and virtually all councils, school boards & community boards have a couple of candidates from these groups (up to Mayor level) - one recent example ticking all the crazy-boxes.

These people now believe in the absurd, and are acting out with threats to Kill the PM and MPs. The opposition PM (a known Dominionist) has just said he wouldn't rule out working with them (he's just been caught lying about having nothing to do with Dominionism for five years. He's falling but polling at 31%, NZ's National Party seems infested with 7Ds.

Every day a new extreme, just this week in the UK; all Criminal lawyers announced an indefinite strike, Truss insulted France (Macron's reply) (Telegraph but subtitles more complete - I'm intrigued by use of the word "beyond" at 00:58, was it in the French? Does it imply anything?). The realisation that much of the UK has been parceled up into freeports/Charter Cities (Cormack Lawson - Medium) (with ALL rights corporate-controlled) - accusations there of suppression of information over a widespread marine fish kill event, possibly from relaxation of dredging controls dredging leading to a marine pyradine plume (an oil industry pollutant), the UK prosed withdrawal from European Court of Human Rights (Hungary currently only non-signatory) - this to ease shipping refugees to Rwanda. And finally Sunak's threats re thought-crimesfor "vilifying" Britain. Meanwhile millions of people may end up 'choosing' between eating and heating this winter.

That the government are indifferent to desperate cries, and steadily polling lower should be the biggest warning flag to the people, there is only one reason they would be indifferent to polls.

I’ve clicked through all of the links and none of them seem to have anything to do with this claim. Am I missing something?

This seems like a post about everything that’s wrong everywhere.

Tactfully, this post could have been benefitted from more editing. Is this focused on Dominionism in general, or specifically in the UK? Is it implying there are Dominionist links to the impending Conservative Party leadership vote? It then skips in the middle to a couple of links about developments in New Zealand, including some suggested links to Qanon types, but I only realized that after clicking on the links, and then back to the UK. So this is about politicians adopting this ideology, or just the ideology in general?

Part of this is my natural skepticism, particularly around the insinuations that this has infiltrated organized political movements: I highly, highly doubt that the secret ideology driving people like Rishi Sunak, Liz Truss and other UK politicians is "Christofascist" in nature with some bizarre "seven mountains" theory, rather than just the usual lust for power to reorder people's lives. Let's not overengineer things.

There is an interesting post to be made on far-right Christian-inspired political movements worldwide but I fear this is not it.
