Soundproof curtains or scam?

Thanks to previous posts, I know truly soundproof curtains don't exist. But will these Quiet Curtains do an okay job of reducing high frequency noises and allowing me to sleep near the kitchen?

My bedroom is next to the kitchen and I would like to put some kind of barrier up that can be removed during the day. A soundproof curtain sounds perfect — so we found these Quiet Curtains that claim to stop high-frequency noises. (The noises in question: things like water and dishes in the sink, the sound of putting plates away, normal kitchen noises.) But this company doesn't have much of an online presence, their social media all seems to stop in 2017, and I'm wondering if it's too good to be true? Suggestions for other soundproof curtains or similar barriers welcome!

The short answer is probably not. These curtains will certainly be better than nothing but if you want to acoustically isolate yourself from a kitchen you'll need wide spectrum absorption with a much higher absorption coefficient and true separation from the kitchen.

They appear to use cloth layers to baffle intrusive noise. It’s a sound concept.
