(not only colonialism - Romani/gitano people in Spain weren't being colonized but their history is still one of oppression and marginalization and racist othering.)

So Chicken Teriyaki confused the heck out of me - its independent video is super fun, but I assumed I just wasn't getting some larger message except it seems like maybe it's really just... fucking around TikTok-style with fun words? It's just a big contrast to the layers she described putting into Saoko.

Also, I don't know how to explain this (cis-het F, so I'm hopefully not being weird male gaze-y), but she looks more sexy to me (or more like sex) than many performers who go even more naked. It feels more voyeuristic to watch. Maybe it's the glow/sweat?
