That represents so much more time and enthusiasm than I'll ever have that I can't help but be impressed.

Also, dude has a knack for naming - "Commodordion" may not be brilliant but I love the names of his previous projects - the Sixtyforgan and the Qwertuoso.

In the unlikely scenario, where this tickles your fancy, yet you are unaware of Look Mum No Computer (IMO one of the strongest arguments for the continued existence of YouTube), I turn your attention to Sam’s adventures in restoring Joan's Organ.

The HN post on this is worthy of reading: The Commodordion | Hacker News.

Sam’s adventures in restoring Joan's Organ.

This has none of Linus's understatement, and Sam's pretty good at hiding the fact he knows what he's doing. The planning and editing of Linus's videos are excellent. With LMNC, I don't think I can say the same: they're always too long and entirely scattershot.

For people who like Look Mum No Computer, that's exactly the sort of thing they like.

The bellows sensing is the hackiest possible solution, and I love it.

This is absolutely astonishing. It took until he picked up scissors before I realised what the bellows were made of!

The sheer amount of ingenuity and follow through on this is astonishing. This is one of those late night ideas that should become of nothing, but he actually made it happen! And once he finished making it, he practiced enough to play a credible 8-bit Maple Leaf Rag. *genuflecting*

I really don't know what to say about this other than “I LIKE it! Very Much!”
