I don't knit; I'm just a fan.

The coziest frogs (and tiny chickens, ducks, fawns, rabbits, kitties, etc.) you'll find anywhere. Claire Garland (dot pebbles) creates incredibly detailed and adorable knitting patterns for tiny animals and also their tiny sweaters. She graciously gave me permission to use a really lovely frog photo (the one with the tiny table) for my holiday cards, and then I discovered so much more. She also has a beautiful book, with those patterns also on Ravelry. Instagram too.

Oh MY.

These are absolutely, absolutely wonderful -

I just wish she were selling some of the animals, too, because - like you - I don't knit, and even though the patterns might be excellent, I doubt I could achieve such gorgeous results myself, if I tried.

They are all magnificent: the frogs, the rabbits, the owls and the badger and ...)

Even if I can't buy myself a frog, I am delighted to get to look at her beautiful photographs.

Thank you so much for posting this, amtho - her work is just marvellous!

The photos are super adorable. But for me, as a non-knitter, the written description of the pattern in the first link is like trying to read Greek -- it makes me want to learn just so I could decode the text.

Oh good grief, there are whimsical and poignant TikTok videos.

More videos - a lot more - on her YouTube channel.

kristi - I thought I saw some knitted items for sale on the Etsy site, but either I imagined it or they sold out quickly. Maybe worth sending a note.

I have the frog and sweater pattern and I do knit! I’ve got the yarn for it and intend to make two - one to keep (which shall also be my practice round) and one to mail to my best friend. Thanks for posting, her things are so dear.

This is the second time I've across this designer this month! Lovely designs.

I make stuffed animals only occasionally but have been itching to get back to knitting, so perhaps this is just the ticket out of a stressful month/year...

And if those are too cute here's... err... more of the insides...?

Oh wow, slater. I think we have enough material for a MeFi Museum of Interesting Knitting.

(My first ever post was of the Tsocks Tsarina, who was really brilliant with incredible and inspired sock art... so much interesting knitting out there!)

Can anyone point me to a photo of the finished project of the puppy featured in that TikTok video?

This Etsy listing is similar -- it has the eyebrows -- but it has a plastic nose. Also dalmatian spots.

However, it references this online course (Yes! Taught by Claire Garland!) that has more -- a quick glance didn't see an identical image.
