...And monsters sharpen their claws in the void where youth is confused with beauty.
Get out your shovel! MeFi favorite Bobby Fingers is at it again, with an incendiary new diorama featuring the (middle-aged) King of Pop on the set of the notorious Pepsi commercial. Special appearances by Matt Parker, Constance Zimmer and David Spiegelhalter, with inspired use of shrooms, horse's caca and an original song about youthful indiscretions.

Had you intended to have Matt's video be the link for "new diorama"?

Whoops! Thanks for pointing that out hanov3r. Mods, please change the incendiary link to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHi479xN_po.

If you start the timeline from where his father signed the Faustian contract, you'll see that the curse kicks in exactly halfway.

Honestly this was such a rollercoaster of a ride. I mean I didn't even know whether I'd end up anywhere near where I expected to end up.... and I didn't.
Humans, as long as you can do this kind of stuff I'm not scared of robots. Or roaches. Or AIs.

Somehow I liked this so much less and yet at the same time several times more than the other two Bobby Fingers videos? I'm not sure how that happened. I think I'm going to go lie down.

I'd never heard of Bobby Fingers and now I want to be his best friend.
This is amazing.

Same. Although maybe I'd skip the skull dancing.

I got to see my name in a youtube video, still processing that. The bronze lamp was amazing.
(I hope sister Fingers is right now enjoying the sweet, sweet attentions of Dickie.)

Wow! That was so amazing. I mashed that favorite button really hard since we can't do multiples. The little Michael sounds, the detour into a shroom experience, the story of Dickie, the dry and obscene Irish humor. Mwah! Chef's kiss! The fact that he is an incredibly talented artist as well was the capper. His wife is obviously no slouch either as her sculpture was great, too. Thank you for introducing me to his videos.

The line monsters sharpen their claws in the void where youth is confused with beauty was sufficiently powerful that when I first saw this video, I was nearly sure that I'd read that before - and googled it trying to find the poet or novelist responsible... only to arrive here.
