I Asked The Doctor, To Take Your Picture, So I Could Look At You...

Very cool way of looking inside complex things and seeing where everything is located, which pulling it apart (if that's even possible) doesn't show in the same way.

The doctor gave me 4x6 prints of my first upper endoscopy, so I put them in the family album. If you don't know what you're looking at, it kind of looks like a scary dark ride at a theme park.

I went to see Gunther von Hagen's exhibition of plasticised human cadavers a few years ago, which included a horizontal cross section of one chap's innards. That looked like a full english breakfast.

This is absolutely fantastic! I was amazed by the precision engineering that goes into a Lego Minifig!

I'm curious about the electronic stuff with metal components though: I thought you couldn't put metal through a CT scan?

CT uses X-Rays, which is fine. You can't use metal in a MRI unit, which uses very strong magnetic fields to detect the hydrogen atoms in water and other tissues.

The minifig one is an excellent intro to Lego's manufacturing experience. The tiny stress-relief details (like hollow wrists) are mostly non-intuitive: only millions of play test hours would uncover these requirements
