That's what happens when you can't find the strikezone. If he was throwing the ball like he did last year he would still be with the big league club regarless of the things he says or the way he acts.

Who is this person? Why is he different from other atheletes? I thought we allowed people to be bigots in this country, even if we thought it repugnant. If they're punishing him for being a lousy pitcher, fine, but why because he's hateful? Ty Cobb was pure evil. What difference does that make to the sport?

I don't know. I think it's better to let idiots be idiots. They'll be punished by themselves for that one.

PUH-leez! Charles Rocker, another guy in my "who cares" category. It's like when (Cinncinnati Reds owner) Marge Schott just didn't know when to shut up and said something about Hitler's accomplishments. They threw the book at her.

He is now thinking of retiring and becoming a stock broker. How dumb is this guy? Just ignore athletes when comments like this are made and sports stories of stupidity will just go away. Why was Pearlman writing garbage like this anyway? The best comments about this issue in my opinion come from Jim Rome's Last Word about Rocker, Bob Knight happenings and other murder trials.
