How does this....work? I click on squares, assuming that that would be how I place mines, but nothing happens.

Click on the ? for instructions, then click on one of the 2 buttons next to the ?

There are directions if you click on the question mark in the upper right. Basically you have to set a level to start, either 8x15 or 16x30.

Now with "wormhole mode," where some of the squares are inaccessible. Wormhole mode restores the classic Minesweeper feature of the occasional non-unique solution.
