Bad News for a Wednesday I certainly hope that some good can come out of this tragedy. Perhaps that's a bit of wishful thinking on my part.

Ah... Washington Post, requires registration; not enough information in the FPP to convince me to do so. Help me out here.

The Washington Post doesn't require registration. It just asks you for three pieces of demographic information.

After the 3 pieces of demographic info, I got a blank page.

I'm looking on CNN for the bad news. Any hints?

Pre-911 intelligence?
Stock slide?
Desert W. Storm?

Two of which are already provided as examples... 1965 as a birthday and 27010 (iirc) as a zip code...

Two black transgendered teenagers were shot and killed in a tough part of DC back in August.

The article is a profile of them and their families; police department is keeping quiet about the investigation.

At least, that's the article I saw.

Two transgendered teenagers shot in their car, not far from their house in Washington D.C. Family reactions, background on the life of the kids, not much in ways of talk of suspects or motive, more a piece of the lives of the girls and those they left behind.

On preview, what junkbox said.

I certainly hope that some good can come out of this tragedy.

I hope they catch the shooters. That's the only Good one can really expect, right? No evidence yet that they were shot because they were so "hated", as the mother suggests.

Funny, it wouldn't accept that I am a 115-year-old woman who lives in Beverly Hills, but it did let me in as a 1-year-old boy from Washington DC.

It must be the age--I was fine as a 1 year old from Beverly Hills.
