Friday Itch.io Fun: Neltris

Neltris is a small in-browser game by Hempuli, creator of Baba is You, Environmental Station Alpha, and scores of tiny indie games as seen on that itch.io page. It's just Tetris, but with additional Tetris.
IDK it plays like regular Tetris to me. Blocks go down, I panic completely - "you're a game developer, this should be easy for you" - I confuse the buttons for rotate - what is "rotate left" anyway - I accidentally drop the block somewhere random - I make a impossible to salvage tower of misplaced blocks - the game ends.

This is far too much tetris.

I got one extra screen, smirked, and closed the window. I've never invested enough time in getting okay at Tetris to feel like this creates an amusing challenge.

High score: 15, with 6 open windows. Not sure if I like this yet.

started the game, was like "why does it say 'oh no' tho", put together a nice clean clear, immediately said "oh no" to myself
A+++ would be plunged immediately into despair again

I'm not sure I need a game that makes me feel bad about myself.

That'd make a really fun puzzle if the pieces didn't auto advance. I can about handle three screens if I get the pieces staggered well enough, it's made significantly harder by the pieces being completely random.

Extremely neat, but I got to 4 and decided that was enough Neltris.
