Good Samaritans joined by green sea turtle for unexpected outback road trip.
After spotting a request for help on social media, Emily and Callum helped Squirt the turtle make the 600-kilometre (372.8 miles) journey from Port Hedland to Broome.
I am contemplating re-writing the lyrics of the theme to Gilligan's Island as I read this. Something something a three something or other for starts...

Also, consider Using newspaper and eye-witness reports, the wildlife lover tracked down a mob of wallabies living in the Midlands for a mere 15,000 kilometer side-step in comparison.
The numbers and varieties of feral Australian wildlife in Great Britain are quite impressive to say the least.

No, no, no! You're using the format all wrong! You can't just introduce the premise and have some helpful Aussie couple go "yeah, alright" and then *arrive* at the Native Animal Rescue Centre. There has to be an arc!
Emily and Callum need to start with an argument about how shy he is, he needs to be more assertive in his job or something. Cut to, Emily sees this ad and responds thinking it'll bring the two of them together. Then you introduce Squirt, montage of them getting to grips with caring for an aquatic animal, everything manic and quick cuts. Then a slow scene at a motel late at night, crickets chirping, Callum comes outside for a cigarette, Emily asks if Squirt has gone to sleep, they exchange a moment under the stars. Music montage of being on the road, Squirt has become part of the family. Then bam, the arrival at the Native Animal Rescue Centre, a teary moment as they realise Squirt is going to be looked after and they'll never see him again. Emily's decision is vindicated, Callum admits that caring for Squirt has really brought him out of his shell. Roll credits.
*That's* a road movie.
