Beluga whales saved from bombing in Ukraine in "the most complex marine mammal rescue ever." Two beluga whales faced a gruelling journey across Ukraine's war-ravaged region of Kharkiv to reach their new home in Spain.

Good work by all involved, and a happy ending for the whales. Now if only Russia would fuck off and stop bombing Kharkiv and the rest of Ukraine.

This is an incredibly complicated paragraph. Beluga whales transported across Ukraine. It’s surreal. Glorious, inconceivable, incomprehensible. Baffling; as all surreality should be.

Not sure I want to read the article - might burst the bubble. Beluga whales driving super-trucks across Ukraine ? I don’t think I want to touch it. Too pure

Poor things, I'm glad they were moved to safety. But there are a lot of humans, and animals, left behind and suffering still from unconscionable Russian attacks.
