Regarding the Secret Life of Rabbits

Regarding the Secret Life of Rabbits is a webcomic about life with rabbits that has been running for about a decade. Those with house rabbits will see much that is familiar in individual strips. The comic has a homepage with links to various content, from strips to a blog to merch. The strip is the creation of That Lady, as she styles herself in the comic. Latest strip. Generally a fine alternative to watching the news, the strip does have its hard moments, as when one of the cast rotates out. Believe it or don't!
This has been very enlightening.

Was hoping this was about the common European rabbits we have all over the US. We have a small family living in our back yard. They never amount to more than 3-4 tops (some critter, a cat or something, must be killing most of the babies) and they hang out in the yard, and never seem to eat ANY of our plants! My neighbor (we share a yard) grows lettuce, chard, kale and the rabbits don't touch it, ever. I grow a huge variety of perennials and annuals every year and they leave those alone, too.
There's no screening or anything keeping them for chowing down anywhere. The rabbits look well fed, they're sort of wary of humans and are definitely wild, not domestic pets on the loose. I just don't understand what the hell they eat.

Ugh, Tumblr, unfortunate. I can't even figure out how to navigate the installments of the comic without having to follow on Tumblr, which is something I don't want to do.

Fortunately you don't have to do that. I get the updates via her other social media accounts, so I never even see the tumblr otherwise. I will admit that I don't know how to navigate the tumblr site effectively on my phone, can only scroll backward, but it's easy-peasy on the web browser on my computer. Under the cartoon, there's a simple "first - previous - random" nav.

The wild rabbits we have in Seattle are Eastern Cottontails which were imported by hunters in the 1890s. They have also spread to Bainbridge Island and some of the San Juan Islands by means I know not. Right now they are at all time population peak. It's like bunny motocross in the evenings in our Broadway courtyard. Until I take my phone out to video them. . Or when our Anna's hummingbird sings in the cherry tree in the courtyard. Pull my phone out and where did he go? Damn psychic urban wildlife. Same with the evening a baby squirrel played tag with a baby cottontail. That was so cute, I tells ya. If only they weren't so camera shy.
