"Interior Chinatown" on Hulu, Nov. 19

"Just a month before its debut on Hulu, the first trailer for Interior Chinatown has been released. Based on the 2020 novel of the same name by Charles Yu, who won the 2020 National Book Award for Fiction, the series will follow Silicon Valley’s Jimmy O. Yang as Willis Wu, who accidentally witnesses a crime and starts to discover family secrets and Chinatown's criminal underground."

Had not previously heard this was being adapted, and I am excited. Interior Chinatown on Fanfare.

I'm really curious how the show will adapt the various "shows" the characters are on.

Me too! I feel like TV's in a good place to handle this right now, with various successful examples of shows that have had show(s)-inside-of-the-show work well (WandaVision, etc.).

I’m really looking forward to this. He’s the lead in one my favourite romcoms Love Hard where he is literally a catfishing liar and still manages to make the redemption arc into a sweet romance work because he’s a bloody good actor.

Not an adaptation I would have expected, but the book was a trip and I am totally down for this.
