Your friend writes beautifully and paints a picture with her words.

"When you're seven years old, two months is such a big slice of everything you've ever been that it might as well be the whole cake. Two months is an eternity. When you're seven years old, two months can be a lifetime."

@ewok_academy Please tell your friend that she has a real gift for writing, and I hope she is planning to share more with the world. So incredibly visceral and evocative. I remember being that young and creating whole worlds in the small spaces no adult would think to find. I am glad she was able to find even a small amount of refuge in those spaces, though it breaks my heart that she had to create that for herself.
