It's finally happened.

It's finally happened. Playboy has finally exhausted the supply of beautiful women, and is having to dip into the "second tier" as it were. (This link may not stay current, so I'll explain. Roseanne Barr is gonna pose nude for Playboy. If that's not one of the signs of the apocalypse, it damned well ought to be.)

Its not all bad, owners of that issue can say "I bought it for the articles" and be telling the truth!

LOL... well said.

Did you see that article, though? Roseanne's into music? She can sing about as well as my left foot (which is nowhere near as talented as my right pinky toe!) And she lost 5 pounds and bought a tummy tuck? Uhm, great!

"Why would a sane woman allow herself to be gawked at by drooling apes all over the country?"

"Hef aiming a bazooka at her parents?"

"No, I understand free will is involved."

Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-pornography...I understand why people want to look at naked people. I just don't understand why people want to be the naked people who get looked at...and used for masturbatory fodder...and such. Then again, maybe I'm just not comfortable enough with my own body or something.

By the way, I should credit Berke Breathed with the stuff in quotes. Thanks, Burke. Whatever happened to him?

i've thought about this a lot, and i think that a lot of the time women get the message that being desired by many is the epitome of femininity. so having a whole lot of men looking at you in that sexual manner is complimentary.

not that i would ever do it, but i can see how someone would want to.

They also pay a ton; don't overlook that as a draw for their "Girls of the Big 10" type issues.

The Berke-ster is writing children's books, for a while now.

Girls start getting the "look at me" bug around 14 or so. Whether it's conscious or not.

Not these days, Steven. They seem to get it quite a bit earlier, leastways round here...

Wow. She lost *5* pounds. :-)
