If you aren't crying by the time Oreo shows up, I don't know what to say, man. Having lost count of the friends and former co-workers who have lost their homes this past week, I REALLY needed this.

And while not dog-related, Avoiding Regret has made a nice post of places that have survived.

I cried the first time and this time - thanks for posting here. I truly believe in dogs and also that the insights in A Paradise Built in Hell do hold for much of humanity.

I am so very happy that Oreo was reunited with his owner. Also, that so many people helped each other.
